The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, or consulting, with expertise in financial modeling and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 2β4 years in investment banking, venture capital, or consulting, ideally with at least 1+ year in a strategic finance role at a high-growth tech company
- Expert-level financial modeling, scenario planning, and quantitative analysis
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to assess challenges and identify innovative solutions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Conduct data-driven analyses to support strategic business decisions, such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate data and enhance financial reporting and decision-making processes
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investments, partnerships, and new business opportunities
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to inform leadership on risks and opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess unit economics and profitability by product, customer segment, and geography
- Lead pricing analysis and assess ROI for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and other growth strategies
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify potential risks and growth opportunities
- Develop actionable insights to guide strategic initiatives across the organization
- Prepare high-quality materials for the executive team, board meetings, and investors, synthesizing data into compelling narratives
- Support fundraising or M&A efforts, including due diligence and financial evaluation of potential targets
- Define and analyze strategic KPIs, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into business performance and market trends
- Partner with leadership to inform resource allocation and long-term strategy adjustments
