Summary

Join Vida, a virtual personalized obesity care provider, as a Strategic Finance Associate and engage with all aspects of the business. You will conduct strategic analysis, financial forecasting, and reporting, gaining exposure to high-level corporate decision-making. The position involves developing Vida’s financial model and internal/external reporting processes, designing dashboards, building financial models, and conducting complex data analyses to provide actionable insights for leadership. You will evaluate unit economics, margin drivers, membership growth, and strategic partnerships, and track key business drivers. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy and/or data analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate financial insights to stakeholders across functions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), if not already proficient

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop Vida’s financial model and internal/external reporting processes
  • Design dashboards, build financial models and conduct complex data analyses to provide actionable insights for leadership
  • Apply business judgment and financial insights to evaluate unit economics, margin drivers, membership growth and strategic partnerships
  • Track, model and analyze key business drivers, including member engagement, retention, acquisition costs and provider network capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience and working knowledge of healthcare business and delivery models
  • MBA or related advanced degree
  • Experience using NetSuite or comparable general ledger software
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with VBA in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in a high-growth or startup setting

Benefits

$95,000 - $115,000 a year
