8+ years experience in strategic finance, business operations, or corporate development in a fast-paced environment such as a high-growth tech company; investment banking; private equity

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed financial analysis of energy market participants and platforms
• Define milestones, navigate regulatory relationships, and bring to market our financial platform with the optimal heading for scale
• Participate in financial planning processes (e.g. annual budgeting, capital markets) for our entire organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Thrive under ambiguity: You enjoy synthesizing a significant number of information threads to a well-structured and defended plan
• Relentless: You aren’t discouraged by obstacles or the challenges of moving from 0 to 1
• Highly analytical: You have a keen sense for how to break ambiguous problems into 'knowable' components, and you're adept at quickly navigating analytical question and answer pairs which obtain with one another. You have proficiency with Python and one or more common analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc
• Detail oriented: You have comfort and facility with the last few percent of accuracy, ensuring work products have zero defect
• An excellent communicator: As well as solving problems, you can communicate your thinking to various stakeholder audiences who may have divergent points-of-view
• Eager to learn: You are eager to learn and grow; you enjoy the pain of a steep learning curve
