Strategic Operations Manager

Summary

Join dLocal as a Strategic Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations for Pix in Brazil. You will own and scale the operational strategy, ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance. This role involves identifying process improvements, monitoring key metrics, and serving as a point of contact for stakeholders. Collaboration with product, engineering, compliance, finance, and customer support teams is crucial. Requirements

• Proven experience in operations, strategy, or payments – preferably within a fintech, bank, or payment service provider
• Deep understanding of Pix and the Brazilian payments ecosystem
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Experience working with regulatory bodies (e.g., Banco Central do Brasil)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the operational strategy for Pix in Brazil, ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, proactively addressing any issues and driving continuous improvement
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding Pix operations
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize and implement new features or enhancements to Pix-related flows
• Support incident management and root cause analysis in collaboration with technical and compliance teams
• Stay up to date with changes in the Brazilian financial system and ensure our operations remain compliant with Central Bank regulations
