Summary
Join Headway as their Strategic Planning Manager and own the development and execution of various company strategic planning processes. You will partner with the executive team and senior leadership to define company strategy and translate it into actionable goals. Design and facilitate end-to-end strategic planning processes, drive operational excellence, and identify roadblocks inhibiting execution. Develop and maintain company-wide goal tracking and reporting frameworks, and manage planning frameworks to scale with the company's rapid growth. This role requires 6-10+ years of experience in operational roles at high-growth tech companies, including strategy, strategic planning, business operations, or management consulting. The ideal candidate is operationally excellent, a collaborator, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
Requirements
- You have 6-10+ years of experience in operational roles at high-growth tech companies, including background in strategy, strategic planning, business operations, or management consulting
- You are operationally excellent, able to manage a large volume of moving pieces without breaking a sweat
- You are a collaborator that proactively partners across teams while holding them accountable for results
- You are extremely detail oriented and love building systems that scale

- You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate end-to-end strategic planning processes, including long-range planning, annual planning, quarterly OKRs and cross-functional goal alignment
- Drive operational excellence and best practices in the goal setting process to ensure cross-functional alignment and that teams are accountable to top priorities
- Partner closely with the executive team and senior cross-functional leaders to identify and remove roadblocks that inhibit execution of key goals and priorities
- Develop and maintain company-wide goal tracking and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into performance and opportunities for improvement
- Manage and evolve planning frameworks and templates to scale alongside the company in rapid growth
