Summary

The job is for a Strategy Associate at constellr, a fast-growing company working on precision temperature monitoring from space to revolutionize food security worldwide. The role involves implementing strategic initiatives, business development, managing stakeholders, overseeing projects, contributing to thought leadership, and supporting the executive team. The position is based in Munich with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least 2 days per week on-site.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field
  • Experience working in a strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or similar position within a deep technical company
  • Comfortable working closely with C-level or Founders internal teams
  • Proven experience with business development, acquisitions, and managing strategic partnerships
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-organisational initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of professionalism representing senior management at external events and meetings
  • Experience with commercial public affairs, influential and highly credible as an external representative
  • Highly autonomous and able to make quick decisions based on priorities and critical business objectives
  • Fluent in German and English, French is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Implementing plans to drive strategic initiatives forward
  • Steering alignment with constellr’s company goals and the rapidly evolving EO data market
  • Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
  • Leading acquisition strategies to expand technical capabilities and market reach
  • Managing relationships with external partners, including investors, collaborators, and customers
  • Representing the company in high-stakes meetings and industry events, requiring travel where needed
  • Overseeing a constantly changing portfolio of projects
  • Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and taking disruptive actions to drive substantial strategic, operational and cultural changes
  • Staying up to date with the latest advancements in climate technology and contributing to thought leadership content
  • Identifying challenges and mitigating them before they arrive, representing the CEO & COO and acting as a gatekeeper to ensure they can be as efficient as possible. Preparing workload material, meeting agendas and de-briefing
