Summary

Join SOPHiA GENETICS as a Subject Matter Expert in Genomics for the Brazil and South LATAM region, providing technical support to sales executives throughout the sales cycle. Requires previous industry experience in commercial technical roles linked to genomics, deep knowledge of genomics and related technologies, strong communication skills, and a relevant scientific degree.

Requirements

• Previous industry experience in commercial technical support role linked to Genomics
• Deep knowledge and understanding of genomics, next-generation sequencing technologies, and related applications
• Bachelors or higher degree in a relevant scientific field such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or similar
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Sales Executives as a product technical expert to support, drive, and close sales opportunities
• Deliver platform demonstrations and in-depth presentations to customers and participate in trade shows, vendor shows, and technical/promotional seminars
• Provide expert knowledge across the full range of SOPHiA GENETICS products and applications
• Gather and share competitive market intelligence and drive continuous product development in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management
• Support our expansion into multimodal data, providing customer solutions across Genomics, Radiomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, and Transcriptomics
