Summary

Join Guardant Health as a Reimbursement Supervisor - Prior Authorization and provide exceptional support to customers, the Clinical Laboratory, and Sales Representatives. Supervise a team, ensuring compliance and efficiency in daily tasks. Approve timecards and time off requests, conduct regular audits, and train team members. Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve processes and suggest enhancements to software programs. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred or High school diploma
  • Ability to work as part of a team comprised of internal employees, contractors and managers
  • Ability to multitask and take on various projects
  • Ability to work with self-discipline, good judgment and independence in a dynamic office and/or remote setting
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills are required, as is computer proficiency
  • Solid experience using Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of insurance plans, policies, medical policies, and insurance structure in regards to billing for medical claims
  • Flexibility with respect to working hours based on operational need

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform the duties of all preceding Reimbursement Job Descriptions
  • Supervise all work and attendance aspects of the assigned team
  • Meet regularly with the team and individual staff members
  • Approve employee timecards and time off requests
  • Perform regular audits of team members work activities to ensure compliance, accurance and efficiency
  • Ensure all Team members responsibilities and daily activities are being performed in accordance with expected turn-around times and processes defined in order to meet daily business needs
  • Train existing and new team members on processes and policies
  • Perform competency assessments
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPโ€™s)
  • Work with internal departments and external partners
  • Suggest process improvements and collaborate with Leadership on processes, new or enhanced software programs, and overall payor activity
  • Other administrative duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience as supervisor

Hybrid Work Model : At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
