Supplier Intelligence Intern

Summary

Join Continental's Supplier Intelligence team as an intern and contribute to the daily risk assessment of geopolitical and geohazard disruptions. You will evaluate and report on progress with purchasing departments, identify supplier locations, support Material Shortage Management (MSM) and Potential Customer Impact (PCI) processes, provide management reporting, and conduct supplier surveys. A mentor will guide your development. This internship requires ongoing university studies in business administration, economics, or a related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate English, and the ability to work in international and remote teams. Requirements

• Ongoing University studies in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification, or any – with strong interest in discovering the Purchasing domain
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
• English - medium/advanced level
• Ability to work in international teams and remote project teams incl. communication and conflict management
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the risk supply management team in a day-to-day risk assessment of geohazard and geopolitical disruptions
• Evaluation and regular reporting on progress in cooperation with the respective purchasing department
• Determine all Continental supplier locations within the affected region
• Support Material Shortage Management (MSM) and Potential Customer Impact (PCI) process
• Provide regular management reporting`s for the status of all affected suppliers
• Initiate Sustainability and Risk related supplier surveys in SupplyOn and perform the analysis of the surveys
