Requirements

• 5+ years in a supplier-facing quality engineering role—especially in mechanical hardware or components
• Ability to influence suppliers with a balance of relationship-building and accountability
• Process-minded, results-driven, and confident making decisions with limited data
• Strong communicator, experienced in working remotely and on-site
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 , and structured quality processes
• Travel required more than 50% of the time—this is a very hands-on field role

Responsibilities

• Support + Improve Partners : Evaluate new suppliers, develop current partners using our maturity model and scorecards, and help implement effective control plans
• Resolve and Prevent Issues : Lead root cause investigations and coach partners through corrective actions that stick
• Quality Systems Innovation : Work cross-functionally to improve our QMS and help customers see the value we bring to part manufacturing
• Travel and Audit : Regularly visit suppliers across the U.S. and support remote audits when offsite
