Requirements

• Minimum of 5 solid years of Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Must have a strong cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles
• Good communication skills; presents numerical data effectively
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, with strong attention to detail
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• ERP system (Oracle Fusion, Netsuite, Dynamics, or related) experience required

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement, inventory management, and logistics
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve supplier performance, reduce lead times, and enhance supply continuity
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMOs) to ensure alignment of production schedules with demand forecasts
• Analyze supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate, real-time tracking of materials and finished goods
• Work closely with procurement and operations teams to negotiate supplier agreements and cost-effective solutions
• Work closely with contract manufacturers (CMOs) to align production schedules with demand forecasts and ensure efficient inventory utilization
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and budget adherence
• Maintain the cost and manufacturing accounting system for the Company’s compounding facilities; develop standard costs and update annually or as appropriate
• Drive the development of procedures and controls that ensure meaningful and reliable product costs and accurate inventories
• Research work orders variances and analyze inventory movement to determine the need for reserves
• Prepare manufacturing accounting reports for presentation to top management
• Prepare all audit support schedules for inventory and respond to audit questions
• Prepare perpetual to G/L reconciliation monthly and investigate differences
• Provide estimates of new product costs and changes in cost
• Reconcile quarterly physical inventory counts and provides metrics; monitor cycle count program
• Support the financial budgets and planning group in the development of the annual budget for manufacturing operations
