Summary

Join Lightcast's Education team as a Survey Project Manager for Alumni Surveys, working directly with higher education clients to administer alumni surveys from onboarding to data delivery. You will serve as a strategic partner, sharing survey best practices and guiding institutions through their data to help them make meaningful plans and actions. Responsibilities include managing survey progress, keeping clients on schedule, addressing errors, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in higher education administration, career services, or assessment, with experience in First Destination Surveys a plus. Strong Excel skills, data analysis abilities, and experience with survey administration tools (Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar) are essential. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are also crucial for success in this role.

Requirements

  • With 2+ years of experience in higher education administration, career services, and/or assessment, you bring expertise and perspective that will help us grow and evolve our alumni surveys, increasing their accuracy, growing their impact, and improving the experience of survey administrators and respondents
  • You’re an Excel wizard, adept with data, and have survey administration experience using Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar tools
  • You’re a data evangelist. Your passion for using data to tell stories and drive decisions is infectious
  • You’re an excellent communicator who builds strong, trusted relationships. You take a consultative approach, understanding your clients’ needs and goals and developing tailored approaches to support them
  • You’re comfortable balancing multiple workstreams and building process where it’s needed. Your ability to see the bigger picture helps you prioritize and work efficiently
  • Your attention to detail means you can manage survey projects with lots of moving parts, addressing errors and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with First Destination Surveys is a big plus
