Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program (MBA, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Policy, ESG, etc.)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in environmental or sustainability consulting
  • Knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon footprinting tools
  • Exposure to ESG investing or corporate sustainability reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders and partners on all levels
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • High level of self-motivation, initiative, and a proactive mindset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on sustainability-related topics such as carbon emissions, supply chain impacts, energy efficiency, and waste reduction
  • Set up an internal reporting process on the company’s carbon footprint, as well as our products’ carbon-saving impact
  • Research regulatory trends and industry best practices in manufacturing and the global transportation industry, and develop a strategy for Aperia to not only comply with the regulations but also help our clients comply with the regulations they face
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market-focused messaging on the sustainability benefits of our product
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management
