Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as a System Architect or similar role in a fintech or payments industry environment
  • Extensive knowledge of system architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and market trends

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of the system architecture for the payment gateway platform
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations
  • Own the target architecture for the system as a whole, and its individual components
  • Define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across the platform
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the product
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus
  • Good level of English and Russian Language
