Summary
The job is for a System Architect in a fintech company. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a System Architect or similar role in a fintech or payments industry environment
- Extensive knowledge of system architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and market trends
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of the system architecture for the payment gateway platform
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations
- Own the target architecture for the system as a whole, and its individual components
- Define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across the platform
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the product
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus
- Good level of English and Russian Language
