Summary
Centorrino Technologies is seeking a System Administrator for their Managed Tickets team. The role involves monitoring customer environments, maintaining and patching firmware and server operating systems, troubleshooting issues, improving processes, communicating with clients, and documenting work. Requirements include previous experience in an MSP environment, excellent communication skills, a keen interest in technology, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively, and valid state-based Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and authorization to work in Australia. Requirements
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Be coachable; have a willingness to take on work outside of your comfort zone and be supported in learning new things
- A keen interest in technology and a strong desire to ensure that all technology is functioning optimally
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change
- You will be willing to learn new technology solutions and concepts to confidently liaise with staff and external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for toolsets that monitor our customer environments. Icinga & Nable
- Own and be responsible for the success of the patching toolset for customers
- Maintain and patch firmware for server infrastructure. Maintain and patch Server Operating Systems
- Troubleshoot systems and infrastructure issues for our managed services clients. Stay current with new technologies and industry trends in the managed services space
- Continually improve by attending training, self-study, and passing vendor certifications
- Create and update technical documentation
- Communicate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions
- Collaborating with your colleagues to determine any processes that requires improvement or can be handled more efficiently
- Seeking customer feedback on your performance and take an active approach in attempting to continuously improve these results
- Identifying problems or requests which don't have an existing process and collaborate with your peers to develop and implement one
- Taking ownership of day-to-day technology issues and dealing with external 3rd party organisations
Preferred Qualifications
Valid state-based Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and be authorised to work in Australia
