Summary
Join EquipmentShare and become our new T3 Systems Engineer, contributing to the transformation of the construction industry through innovative technology. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing internal tooling and automating processes to enhance efficiency across teams. This fully remote position requires strong software development skills, API and database experience, and the ability to create scalable technical systems. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders, plan and execute projects, and provide advanced technical support. Requirements
- Strong software development and scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with APIs, systems integration, and automation frameworks
- Analytical mindset with experience navigating and processing data from multiple sources
- Project planning and technical execution skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Associateβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a system administration or technical support role
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
Responsibilities
- Architect and build internal software applications and scripts
- Develop and maintain APIs and data integrations between internal systems
- Plan and implement automation strategies that reduce manual work across departments
- Design technical specifications based on cross-functional needs and translate them into scalable solutions
- Own the lifecycle of internal tooling projects from planning to delivery
- Evaluate and implement new platforms, services, or custom workflows as needed
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance for complex systems issues
- Stay current on technology trends and identify opportunities for system improvement
