Systems Full Stack Developer

You will work directly with our Head of Systems, focusing on execution while they handle strategic planning. This role suits a self-motivated individual who enjoys solving complex problems and quickly adapting to new skills and tools. We've sold 1.4 million tickets in 3 years across 10 countries and are looking for someone to help expand, consolidate, and harden our tech stack. This is a ground-level opportunity in a rapidly growing industry.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Lambda, S3)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
• Familiarity with API development and integration
• Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script)
• Web development skills (React / Next.JS knowledge a plus)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications to integrate with various APIs from third parties
• Build and maintain cloud-based applications using JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and Apps Script
• Create and customize web pages using both WYSIWYG SaaS platforms and React/Prepr CMS
• Assist with Shopify development and customization
• Perform data transformation and analysis within our data warehouse (Snowflake)
• Create automated Google Sheets reports from Snowflake data for various teams
• Build views and reporting solutions in BI tools and Google Sheets
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders
• Utilize AWS services including Lambda and S3 for various applications
• Handle cloud-based IT requests and occasional systems admin when our full time sysadmin is absent
• Support and maintain existing cloud infrastructure based around Snowflake, AWS, Airtable, Google Sheets, AWS, etc
• Integrate new tools into our cloud infrastructure using native API calls and middleware such as make.com
• Liaise with teams across the organization to complete technical projects scoped by the Head of Systems and the Project Management team
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed
• Cover essential process-based tasks during team member absences
• Handle routine but critical operational activities to ensure business continuity
• Support day-to-day administrative and maintenance tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and building external customer facing AI tools such as Customer Service chat bots, as well as utilising AI for internal projects
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization
• Shopify development experience
• Understanding of data transformation and ETL processes
• Great sense of humour
