Summary

Join Twilio's Talent Research & Intelligence team as a Talent Research & Intelligence Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's global talent strategy. You will provide crucial insights on labor market trends and talent pools to key stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, you will help build and leverage global workforce plans, anticipate market trends, and engage talent efficiently. The role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting findings to senior leaders. You will collaborate with teammates to solve challenges and act as a subject matter expert on labor markets and research methodologies. This remote role is based in the UK and may require occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 3–5+ years in research, analytics, consulting, or finance
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with spreadsheets, including formulas and pivot tables, and comfortable with basic data visualization. Skilled at independently running standard research projects and synthesizing insights from multiple data sources
  • Systems Thinking: Strong understanding of the talent ecosystem and how its various components interact. Experienced in integrating data from platforms such as Draup, Pitchbook, and LinkedIn to deliver well-rounded insights
  • Storytelling & Influence: Able to distill research findings into clear, actionable recommendations, and present them in compelling, audience-tailored formats. Confident delivering presentations to diverse stakeholders, with materials that drive discussion and decision-making
  • Curiosity: Naturally inquisitive, asking insightful questions to fully diagnose problems and identify effective solutions. Self-motivated to deeply understand business challenges through data
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Connects people and ideas to generate creative solutions and drive results

Responsibilities

  • Own research deliverables from inception to delivery, including some stakeholder engagement, alignment with Talent and Twilio priorities, research analysis and effective communication of findings
  • Provide competitive talent insights to senior TA, HR and business leaders critical to our talent strategies and workforce planning
  • Proactively partner to deliver insights in anticipation of business needs and priorities that will help Twilio respond to changing market trends
  • Use a variety of research tools and approaches to drive and deliver research across multiple markets and functions
  • Build and activate strategic talent communities to enhance the impact of talent strategies for priority roles and/or locations
  • Collaborate with teammates to identify the simplest, most effective solutions to stakeholder challenges
  • Act as subject matter expert on labor markets, industry trends, and associated research methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LinkedIn Talent Insights, Draup and Pitchbook tools
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of proactively engaging senior leaders and partnering with cross-functional teams, especially within People functions, to deliver market intelligence that meets evolving business needs
  • Business Acumen: Able to see the broader business context and draw meaningful connections to advance organizational objectives
