Tax Advisory Consultant

Summary

The job description is for a Tax Professional who will assist in preparing and reviewing income tax provisions, have knowledge of tax accounting and compliance rules, prepare tax returns, and perform tax research. The position offers remote work and competitive salary and benefits. Candidates must have a relevant college degree, CPA license, MST license is preferred, at least 2+ years of experience in corporate or Big 4 Public Accounting, and be willing to travel to client sites.

Requirements

• Relevant College Degree (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, etc.)
• Must have a CPA license
• At least 2+ years working in corporate and/or Big 4 Public Accounting
• Must be willing to travel to client sites in local areas

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and review of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 for multiples under the supervision of the Tax Director and Tax Partner
• Knowledgeable in Tax accounting and tax compliance rules along with preparing the quarterly and yearly tax provision and tax returns
• Preparing the stand-alone and consolidated federal and state 'C-Corp' income tax using a tax return software
• Assisting with planning and performing tax research on various federal, state, and international tax issues and prepare tax memorandum
