Summary

The Tax Analyst will be responsible for building a tax knowledge engine, working with the engineering team to translate tax forms into software code, and researching federal and state tax laws. This position requires deep experience with federal or state income tax laws, an understanding of federal or state XML schemas, and interest or experience translating tax logic/forms into code. Requirements

  • You have deep experience with federal or state income tax laws
  • Interest or experience translating tax logic/forms into code (either at a tax software company or elsewhere)

Responsibilities

  • Be a partner to product & engineering on building our tax knowledge engine from the ground up!
  • Work with the engineering team to translate federal & state tax forms & schedules into software code
  • Build end-to-end tests for tax calculations to ensure accuracy
  • Research the federal & state tax law and be the expert on requirements

Preferred Qualifications

You have an understanding of federal or state XML schemas, a plus
