Tax Associate

Join Aprio's Tax team as a Tax Associate and help clients maximize their opportunities. Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge to consulting and compliance engagements. Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040) and participate in tax planning and client consultation. Engage in professional development activities and collaborate with senior leadership. Requirements

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; will consider Entry level
• Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis

Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
• Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients
• Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions and networking events, and work closely with Senior Leadership
