Summary

Join EquipmentShare as a Tax Data Analyst in our Columbia, Missouri (or remote) corporate office and contribute to our profitability through data-driven analysis. Requirements

  • Have legal authorization to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship or an OPT Visa
  • Have 5+ years of experience or education focused on data analysis
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Have corporate finance exposure: specifically working with accounting and accounting data
  • Have experience working with property taxes and related data
  • Have strong SQL experience
  • Have the ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and maintain the data inputs/sources that enable the indirect and direct tax teams to perform key reporting/compliance/planning functions
  • Design and implement solutions to tax data needs (write and automate queries, etc.)
  • Identify roadblocks to scaling and implementing automations to solve for those problems
  • May involve coding lightweight web applications for using tools to connect to various data sources
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the budget and forecasting process
