Requirements

  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey direction and feedback
  • Proficient in Google Sheets or equivalent software
  • Demonstrated exceptional academic track record from both high school and university, with subject expertise in the Humanities disciplines, such as History, Studies of Religion, Gender and Cultural Studies, Politics/Civics and Citizenship, Philosophy etc
  • Experience in managing and leading teams, including setting goals, running meetings and providing feedback

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of content creators focused on the Humanities
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to promote growth and development
  • Recruit, onboard and train new team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
  • Uphold rigorous standards for content quality, ensuring all Humanities content is engaging, accurate, brand-aligned and pedagogically sound
  • Periodically review and provide constructive feedback on team members’ work to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Research and stay up-to-date on pedagogy, competitor resources, subject-specific knowledge and syllabus changes to ensure content is current, effective and aligned with relevant curricular
  • Make informed, subject-specific recommendations on course designs, lesson approaches and product improvements to uplift user experience and outcomes
  • Utilise Google Sheets and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) to plan, track and manage the team's project workflow and deadlines, and maintain our extensive project database
  • Use data to track, forecast and manage the planning and production of educational materials
  • Use insights including usage data and customer feedback to optimise course design and delivery
  • Collaborate with the Content Leadership team to improve and implement strategies for process improvement and efficiency, and share feedback and ideas
  • Inform the development of the content roadmap via feasibility analysis and forecasting, and execute the road map on time and to standard
  • Publish Humanities courses to the Atomi platform with a high degree of technical accuracy and editorial precision
