Team Lead

Summary

Join our growing Technology & Engineering division as an Engineering Manager! This remote role, reporting to the head of engineering, requires leading globally distributed backend software engineering teams. You will implement processes for high-quality, timely delivery, manage scalable infrastructure, and minimize technical debt. The ideal candidate has significant experience managing software engineering teams and a background in backend development with .NET (C#). Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of experience in backend development mostly with .Net (C#)
• One significant work experience managing and leading a software engineering team
• Engineering or University Diploma in computer science (we are also open to self-taught with 5 years experience in computer engineering)
• Ability to code in a backend language (Golang, C#)
• Understanding of Azure or AWS cloud providers
• Understanding the overall architecture and function of how multiple technology teams work together to build systems
• Excellence at troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience in architecting scalable solutions

Responsibilities

• Scale and lead globally distributed software engineering teams (Backend)
• Put processes in place to ensure high quality and timely delivery of team engineering objectives
• Manage and contribute to building scalable infrastructure while limiting technical debt
• Look at engineering solutions through the lens of efficiency, quality, and velocity

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally come from a Backend software engineering career
