Summary

Join DoseSpot, a PE-backed start-up and leader in electronic prescribing software, as a Team Lead, QA Automation. You will drive automation testing strategies, design scalable automation frameworks, and lead a team of automation testers. This role demands close collaboration with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in QA roles, with a focus on automation testing
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring QA teams
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium (Java), Playwright, Cucumber, and Gherkin
  • Proven track record as a Test Engineer in Linux or Windows (.NET) environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze logs and think creatively
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure Test Plans, HP QC, and other testing platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, TFS, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience driving cross-team testing activities, including scheduling and data/environment alignment
  • Ability to write test scripts using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) or TDD (Test-Driven Development)
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like Cucumber and integrating tests into the deployment pipeline
  • Familiarity with tools such as Maven and Jenkins for build automation

Responsibilities

  • Participate in functional and technical discussions with cross functional teams
  • Understand use case-based test scenarios and review product requirements
  • Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain test data
  • Estimate testing activities and apply deep knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
  • Prepare and maintain framework, automated test scripts and test case suite based on functional and design specifications
  • Continuously monitor, execute and improve automated tests, manage defect logs through validation and keep them up to date
  • Identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to your manager
  • Communicate application / product progress to your manager on regular basis
  • Mentor and coach QA engineers in the use of the testing framework and to enhance their skills and performance
