Summary
Join T-Rex Solutions as a Siemens Teamcenter Developer and Product Lifecycle Manager! This part-time position at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, supports the modernization of USAF network infrastructure and migration to AWS. Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Business or IT related field with ten (10) or more years of experience in software development. A Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience may be substituted
- Possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one quickly
- Siemens Xcelerator Academy Teamcenter
- Proficiency in languages commonly used in data center environments such as Python, Java, C++, or others depending on the specific technology stack
- Deep understanding of data center architectures, infrastructure components, virtualization technologies, networking protocols, storage systems, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems and their integration with data center infrastructure. This includes understanding the data model, APIs, and customization capabilities of PLM platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell) and automation tools to streamline migration processes, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure consistency
- Knowledge of security protocols, encryption standards, and compliance requirements to ensure data protection during migration and in the new data center environment
Responsibilities
- Understand Functional Specifications: Analyze functional specifications describing the expected PLM solution and ensure a clear understanding of the requirements before proceeding with development
- Customization and Integration: Design and implement specific customizations for PLM systems, both on the front-end and back-end. Create interfaces between information systems
- Data Migration: Implement migration tools to load legacy data into the PLM system. Transfer existing product data seamlessly
- Automation: Develop scripts to automate functional and non-regression testing. Automation helps ensure the reliability and efficiency of PLM processes

Expertise in planning and executing data center migrations, including risk assessment, capacity planning, and downtime mitigation strategies
