Tech Lead

Summary

Join Encora as a Tech Lead in Brazil and work from home full-time. You will be a key communication point for the team and stakeholders, actively supporting development teams and mentoring junior members. The role involves providing web services solutions, developing new platform features, and participating in the full development lifecycle. You will contribute to technical and architectural discussions with clients. This position requires experience leading development teams and proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, and various other technologies. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with Salesforce integration and various DevOps tools.

Requirements

• Experience leading development teams
• Proficiency with development in Python versions 2 and 3
• Experience with Django and Flask frameworks
• Experience with pyTest
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with modeling, producing, and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

• Actively support the development teams
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Work in a dynamic team to provide web services solutions
• Development of a new platform and features considering scalability, performance, and security requirements
• Participation in the complete cycle of development from requirements refinement, development, and testing
• Contribute to technical/architectural discussions/decisions with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python 2
• Experience with Salesforce integration via APIs
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with OpenShift
• Knowledge of Agile development (e.g. using Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.)
• Familiarity with principles of distributed systems
