Technical Account Manager

Summary

Join Rackspace Technology as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) specializing in AWS cloud technologies. Guide new and existing customers on AWS services and offerings. Collaborate with Rackspace teams to create innovative solutions using public cloud services. Assist customers in modernizing their technical platforms and adopting cloud-native technologies. Promote innovation within customer businesses. Work location is hybrid or fully remote depending on location.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relatable experience
• Excellent communication both verbally and written using the Spanish and English languages
• Excellent technical knowledge of all AWS technologies, services, and offerings
• Ability to scale customer configurations
• Ability to use account management tools
• Ability to drive technical strategy of customer's cloud native transformation
• Strong knowledge of the configuration build process

Responsibilities

• Conduct implementation calls
• Present written and verbal proposals and grow the installed base
• Understand invoicing, contracts, proposals and renewals
• Escalate with guidance and receive escalations
• Intelligently speak to customer technology capabilities, possibilities, and pitfalls
• Recognize and understand why and how to fix
• Owns coordination with RXT teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Recognize gaps based on customer's current build and analyses for future gaps based on proposed changes
• Explain why specific options will work and the difference in recommendations
• Guide customers through implementation options
• Be the primary customer advocate
• Work with Rackspace cloud engineers, CSM, and other stakeholders to translate business and technical objectives into Rackspace solutions
• Provide impartial advocacy, ongoing support, and assistance for workloads
• Bring innovative technologies and products to the customer
• Provide value-added insight to the customer ensuring AWS cloud efficiency and operational excellence in a hands-off keyboard role

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or other AWS strongly preferred
