Summary
Join Wpromote as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) and manage the delivery of eCommerce and CMS accounts, collaborating closely with the Development team. This hybrid role blends program/project management, product ownership, business analysis, and QA. You will gather business requirements, translate them for web development, interact with clients, and troubleshoot platform configurations. Success requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a professional services environment, with agency experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with technical analysis, system configuration, etc. for eCommerce and CMS platforms
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience effectively managing 5-to-6-figure project budgets
- Strong EQ (empathy), conscientiousness, and professionalism
- The ability to create detailed reports and presentations and communicate the information effectively to non-technical audiences
- Competency in Google Workspace
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- A bachelorβs degree in business, technology, or related field
Responsibilities
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
- Conduct internal and external meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Perform requirements analysis and advise the customer on their digital roadmap
- Document and communicate the results of your efforts through Asana, weekly status reports, and internal JIRA tickets
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports in partnership with SMEs, such as status reports/dashboards, technical diagrams, business workflows, budget burndowns, etc
- Work closely with clients, developers, solution specialists, client-side project managers, and account managers
- Prioritize initiatives and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Manage competing resources and monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with any combination of the following platforms is a plus; Wordpress, Contentful, Prismic.io, AB Tasty, VWO, Optimizely, Sitespect, Magento, Shopify, and BigCommerce
- Experience with Google Analytics and PPM tools (ie. Asana, JIRA, etc) is a plus
