Summary

Join Strata Information Group (SIG) as a Colleague ERP Technical Consultant and play a vital role in supporting, enhancing, migrating, and integrating the Ellucian Colleague ERP system for clients. This role offers two primary specializations: programming and development, or system administration and integration. You will collaborate with clients, provide technical support, and manage projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong Colleague knowledge and either programming or system administration expertise, with a willingness to learn the other. Requirements

  • Possess a strong understanding of Colleagueโ€™s functional and technical aspects, with the ability to configure, extend, and integrate system capabilities effectively
  • Be proficient in Envision and UniBasic for Colleague programming (if applicable)
  • Be familiar with or willing to learn tools like JavaScript and React for Ellucian Experience SDK card customization
  • Have experience with Colleague system administration, setup, and proactive monitoring (if applicable)
  • Be proficient in managing system backups, updates, and new release installations
  • Have experience with Colleague release installations, updates, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth version transitions
  • Be proficient in Colleague Self-Service, Envision, Workflow, ELF programming, and Colleague Studio
  • Possess strong communication skills with a customer-service approach, capable of translating technical issues into clear, actionable terms for users
  • Have the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and functional Colleague issues

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure Colleague software suite and connected applications, collaborating with clients
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure solutions align with their business processes
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the Ellucian Colleague system, resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Manage multiple project timelines and deliverables, setting priorities and ensuring all milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded
  • Offer innovative solutions to clientsโ€™ technical requests on their Colleague software suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have hands-on experience with data migration/conversion processes geared towards SaaS migrations
  • Possess advanced skills in SQL for data queries, manipulation, and reporting
  • Be proficient in configuring and troubleshooting API integrations (REST, SOAP)
  • Have experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) and SaaS deployments
  • Have experience with SSO implementation (SAML, OAuth)
  • Have expertise in Ellucian Experience: Custom card development, UI enhancements
  • Have experience with Data Connect: Creation and management of integration pipelines
  • Have experience with Intelligent Processes: Automated workflows to streamline processes
  • Have experience with Insights: Leveraging data insights for decision-making
  • Have experience with Intelligent Learning Platform (ILP): Integration with learning management systems
  • Be willing to travel up to 25% for on-site support and client engagement
