Summary
Join Oddball, a company that values learning and growth, as a Technical Delivery Manager in the DMV area. You will work on a pivotal Federal program impacting millions. Responsibilities include blending project management principles with agile development, overseeing project delivery, and leading agile teams. You will collaborate with engineering and management teams, create user stories and functional specifications, and ensure projects are on schedule and high-quality. The role requires experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and familiarity with Agile practices. Requirements
- Have previous experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers and developers
- Be familiar with Agile practices, including, but not limited to, story creation, daily standups, overseeing retrospectives, leading refinement, etc
- Have the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of product managers and engineers to break down product initiatives into issues for implementation
- Have an eye for quality, organization, and clear communication with teams and clients
- Be comfortable handling multiple ongoing engagements and parallel work streams
- Be able to collaborate with PMs on the roadmap, backlog prioritization, and outlines/briefs
- Be able to coordinate sprint demos and write reports that demonstrate the value the team is delivering
- Be a US Citizen and located in the DMV area (Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia)
- Attend some occasionally meetings in Washington DC with customer/stakeholders
- Be able to attain low-level security clearance
- Have a Bachelorβs degree
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams of designers and developers
- Facilitate the creation of User stories, Functional specs, System/policy/technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and scope definition
- Be familiar with Agile practices, including, but not limited to, story creation, daily standups, overseeing retrospectives, leading refinement, etc
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of product managers and engineers to break down product initiatives into issues for implementation
- Maintain an eye for quality, organization, and clear communication with teams and clients
- Handle multiple ongoing engagements and parallel work streams comfortably
- Collaborate with PMs on the roadmap, backlog prioritization, and outlines/briefs
- Coordinate sprint demos and write reports that demonstrate the value the team is delivering
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in using Github Projects and Service Now
- Have 4+ years' experience in software development/DevOps engineering
- Have previous experience supporting AWS environments
- Have previous experience supporting ETL/ELT data processes and AI/ML and LLM project hosting
