Summary
Join Aiven's Sales team as a Technical Delivery Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the success of our partnerships. You will manage the technical delivery of services through partners, coordinating with internal teams, and acting as a technical liaison. Responsibilities include partner onboarding and enablement, assisting partners in generating business, overseeing project delivery, providing technical support, building strong partner relationships, improving processes, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in cloud technologies and data infrastructure, proven project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and 3+ years of experience in a technical delivery or partner-facing role. Requirements
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data infrastructure (databases, messaging systems, etc.), and API integrations
- Experience working in technology/software sales, pre-sales or consulting
- Ability to understand customers’ technical requirements on an architectural level and propose solutions using Aiven’s services
- Experience implementing proof of concepts as needed, to work with Aiven services to address business requirements
- Knowledgeable of public clouds (AWS, Google or Azure) in the areas of compute, storage - block and object, networking, and security groups
- Proven experience in managing technical projects, with a track record of successful delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
- A passion for working with partners and a commitment to their success
- 3+ years of experience in a technical delivery or partner-facing role
Responsibilities
- Guide new partners through the technical onboarding process, providing training and support on Aiven's products and services
- Assist partners to generate business with Aiven’s new and existing customers to drive ARR growth and shorten the time required to adopt
- Oversee the technical delivery of projects with partners, ensuring timely and successful completion
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinate resources and tasks across internal teams (e.g., engineering, support, sales)
- Track progress and mitigate risks
- Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to partners, troubleshooting issues and escalating complex problems to internal teams as needed
- Build strong relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs
- Identify opportunities to improve partner execution processes and workflows, contributing to the efficiency and scalability of our operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to partner integrations and technical processes
