Summary

A Tech Designer is sought by the company to join their team and implement and maintain technical frameworks for gameplay systems. They will collaborate with other departments, act as a technical expert, and have excellent technical skills in visual and text-based scripting. Required qualifications include the ability to work cross-discipline, good knowledge of game design principles, clear communication, autonomy, and experience in memory optimization. Preferred qualifications are good knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and network replication.

• Excellent technical skills in both visual and text-based scripting
• Motivation to solve creative problems and technical challenges
• Ability to analyze and deconstruct the work of others
• Good knowledge of game and level design principles

• Experience in memory optimization practices

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain technical frameworks for gameplay systems
• Collaborate with other disciplines to determine the best methods and building blocks for content
• Champion and uphold the creation of technical workflows and production pipelines
• Act as a technical expert on the team and ensure the team has the highest quality tools, documents, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge of programming languages such as C++
• Knowledge of network replication and limitations
