Technical Lead

Summary

The job is for a Technical Lead position at Dev Technology, a growing IT company that works on mission-critical projects for the federal government. The role involves leading cross-functional teams to meet functional requirements using various technologies, communicating technical options, participating in design sessions, sprint ceremonies, and meetings, providing guidance on testing practices and code reviews, and collaborating with team members and integration partners.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required - Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance
• A Bachelors Degree is required or experience in lieu of degree with a combined 5 years of experience related to software development using the following
• Delivers software to a containerized cloud environment (e.g., AWS, EKS), with a focus on optimization, troubleshooting, and monitoring
• Utilizes Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to develop, deploy, and maintain environments and services with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services)
• Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and processes to support development, deployment, and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Empower cross-functional teams to meet functional requirements by our federal client
• Communicate technical options, associated tradeoffs and risks with the client, product management team and our federal client's leadership
• Collaborate with team members and integration partners to develop new features as well as to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in all environments
• Actively seeks knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools in order to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, Agile development and DevSecOps practices
• Foster the use of Agile practices within teams to enable delivery of deployable software within specified times
• Actively participate in design sessions, sprint ceremonies and cross functional and integration team meetings
• Provide guidance and oversight of testing practices and code reviews and ensure the security and integrity of the code base and product

Preferred Qualifications

• CSM certification preferred
• Experience with SDLC within a federal government environment preferred
