Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in application design, development, and testing, with a preference for familiarity with Laravel, Vue, and React Native
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering projects, mentoring team members, and overseeing project execution
  • Proficient in API development and experience with various database systems
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures (AWS preferred) and contemporary DevOps/SRE practices
  • Advanced competency in automated testing and source control systems, particularly Git
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Strong communication skills working with cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Partner closely with Product, UXD, UXR, and Data Engineering teams to craft great digital product experiences
  • Lead code reviews and uphold high standards in software development
  • Provide technical and leadership mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of growth and personal development
  • Assess business and product requirements, evaluating the technical viability of proposed solutions
  • Play a critical role in project planning, offering insights on timelines, requirements, and potential challenges
  • Communicate progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner
