Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Expert in Ruby on Rails
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and NodeJS
• Experience with Heroku
• Experience of database technologies (Postgres, Redis, SQL)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Collaboration skills to effectively work within a cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, React, HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, and other related technologies
• Deploy on Heroku
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse software requirements
• Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with team members to optimize application performance and scalability
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools related to Ruby on Rails, NodeJS and React
• Continuously enhance technical skills and share knowledge with the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React
• Experience with QuickBooks integration
