Join Datacom as a Technical Lead and play a key role in the App Integration team, responsible for the technical definition, development, and delivery of Azure service offerings. You will ensure high-quality technical delivery by working with other leads to standardize and automate services, championing an 'automation first' culture. As a senior team member, you will mentor others and assist in their growth. Your responsibilities include working on the product backlog, forming an interlock between Professional Services and Operations teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring, consulting with customers, keeping abreast of new technologies, and leading improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • A strong software development background with a focus on integration, including designing and building APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging solutions
  • Expert Azure technical skills and several years of implementation and cloud transformation experience including serverless, application integration and Azure security
  • A strong understanding and experience with IAC, CICD pipelines and automation
  • Significant Azure technical skills and experience and well as a strong understanding of CICD pipelines
  • Leadership and mentoring skills
  • Understanding of product development process and product lifecycle management
  • Ability to turn technical complexity into customer speak

Responsibilities

  • Work on the Product backlog evolving our current service, and developing new service offerings and products
  • Form a key interlock between Professional Services and Operations teams, develop and drive standardisation and automation across the group to assist improvements in our operational maturity and efficiency
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring, as a senior Azure practitioner in the team you’ll help others grow their skills, providing advice and assistance when required
  • Consult with customers, particularly during initial discussions about technical support requirements
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments, assessing how they can be incorporated into our service
  • Lead initiatives to develop or improve technical aspects of the service, such as monitoring and alerting solutions, interlocks with other Datacom teams
  • Lead customer cloud transformation initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing definition of service tasks
