Summary

Join our team as a Technical Operations Manager to help manage the service side of our business, focusing on monitoring, maintaining, and improving the uptime and reliability of our fleet of sensors and network managers.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical operations, fleet management, or a related field, preferably in IoT or healthcare technology
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IoT device monitoring, network management, and familiarity with thermal sensors and occupancy detection systems
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Process Improvement: Experience in developing and implementing maintenance processes and methodologies
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and support team members and contractors
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in leading projects and managing cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Monitoring: Oversee the real-time monitoring of sensor and network manager uptime and performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Coordinate and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for sensors and network managers, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Process Development: Define and implement processes and methodologies for fleet maintenance and reliability, focusing on proactive and preventative measures
  • Contractor Management: Engage and manage contractors for maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to Butlr’s high standards
  • Local Talent Development: Set up training programs to empower local talent to handle maintenance and troubleshooting, reducing the need for centralized intervention
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on system performance, uptime, and maintenance activities to inform strategic decisions and improvements
  • Team Building: Assist in building and leading a team focused on fleet maintenance and reliability, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fleet management experience
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems
  • Previous experience in contractor management and training programs
  • Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical fields
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from performance reports
