Summary
The Technical Product Manager will drive the strategic vision and development of platform teams, bridging the gap between engineering, business, and customer stakeholders. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. Requirements
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (preferably AWS), and system architecture
- Ability to act on risks, opportunities and impediments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and observability practices
- Collaborative mindset, with experience in stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in developing product strategies, and roadmaps, that accelerate value delivery
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies to improve cross-team collaboration and product delivery
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex software products with your team(s)
- Contributing to the development of the product team culture
- Creativity in problem-solving with a focus on delivering effective and innovative technical solutions
Responsibilities
- Ask insightful questions to determine the βwhatβ and the βwhyβ of our priorities
- Co-create and define the Product Roadmap for the platform teams
- Provide context and guidance, empower your team to have impactful results
- Communicate platform product vision, strategy, and progress to leadership and stakeholders
- Align stakeholders around the platform progress outcomes
- Prioritize product outcomes and capabilities based on research and data analysis
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team leads
- Define team goals/targets
- Clarify technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure products meet reliability, scalability, and security standards
- Collaborate with software engineering teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the renewable energy sector or similar industries
