Summary

The Technical Product Manager will drive the strategic vision and development of platform teams, bridging the gap between engineering, business, and customer stakeholders. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. Requirements

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (preferably AWS), and system architecture
  • Ability to act on risks, opportunities and impediments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and observability practices
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience in stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
  • Proven experience in developing product strategies, and roadmaps, that accelerate value delivery
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies to improve cross-team collaboration and product delivery
  • Proven ability to develop and manage complex software products with your team(s)
  • Contributing to the development of the product team culture
  • Creativity in problem-solving with a focus on delivering effective and innovative technical solutions

Responsibilities

  • Ask insightful questions to determine the β€˜what’ and the β€˜why’ of our priorities
  • Co-create and define the Product Roadmap for the platform teams
  • Provide context and guidance, empower your team to have impactful results
  • Communicate platform product vision, strategy, and progress to leadership and stakeholders
  • Align stakeholders around the platform progress outcomes
  • Prioritize product outcomes and capabilities based on research and data analysis
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team leads
  • Define team goals/targets
  • Clarify technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
  • Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure products meet reliability, scalability, and security standards
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the renewable energy sector or similar industries
