Remote Technical Program Manager (Robotics)

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or 5+ years relevant experience in robotics or similar hardware
• 7+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experience
• Experience managing programs involving Software integration with new Hardware development
• Experience with Systems Engineering principles
• Experience with Test and validation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Experience with multiple development methodologies, including agile and waterfall
• Experience using Jira and other program management tools
• Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems, managing project dependencies, and negotiating parallel activities to optimize project execution
• Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management

Responsibilities

• Drive software-hardware integration efforts across the organization throughout development activities toward release to manufacturing
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional dependencies between Software and Hardware organizations
• Coordinate verification test plans with Systems Engineering and QA
• Prioritize and drive technical issues to closure throughout the organization
• Provide program updates to all stakeholders, including the executive team
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks as needed to appropriate stakeholders
• Identify and execute continuous process improvements
