Summary

The Technical Sales Manager will lead the charge in championing Nomic's revolutionary nELISA platform, focusing on generating new account business with an eye toward the BioPharma space. The role requires a dynamic and motivated sales professional with a strong technical background, MS or PhD in relevant field, 5+ years of experience in technical sales, especially in Pharma and Biotech accounts, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in relevant field, e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in Pharma and Biotech accounts
  • Strong technical background with the ability to quickly comprehend novel applications to maximize use cases for Nomic products and services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of clearly articulating and presenting concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in CRM software utilization, forecasting, and funnel management
  • Ability to travel ~50% of the time. (All travel expenses reimbursed)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, presenting all aspects of our nELISA platform effectively
  • Conduct and create technical sales presentations for prospective customers
  • Generate new business by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
  • Balance strategic and transactional opportunities to optimize sales outcomes and manage sales funnel health for accurate forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal Customer Success and Product teams to create solutions based on customer-driven insights and feedback
  • Attend industry and academic conferences as a technical sales lead
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and funding intel to identify new opportunities
