Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field; Masterโ€™s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in technical solution design or architecture, with at least 3 years in the K-12 EdTech industry
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions for large school districts or educational organizations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of leading technical discussions, managing multiple projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other educational platforms is mandatory
  • Experience with single sign-on (SSO) solutions, identity management, and user provisioning
  • Prior experience working in a product management or technical consulting role within the EdTech space

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical solutions that address the unique needs of K-12 clients, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer lifecycle and industry trends
  • Lead architectural discussions to create scalable, flexible, and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing K-12 infrastructure and third-party applications
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor and consultant for school districts, providing in-depth technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales and implementation cycles
  • Assist in pre-sales engagements, providing detailed technical presentations and solution demonstrations to key stakeholders to align on expectations of Kiddomโ€™s integration capabilities
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including solution blueprints, integration plans, and technical guides, to support seamless implementation and adoption
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Learning to foster a positive onboarding experience to our customers
  • Engage with IT directors, school administrators, and educational leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and technical environments
  • Partner with implementation and support teams to ensure that technical designs are executed effectively and that any post-implementation issues are resolved quickly
  • Partner with third-party vendors to establish processes and procedures for custom integrations
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the K-12 EdTech space to proactively identify business opportunities for enhancements to our services
  • Create business cases (including budget and timeline) for changes to Kiddomโ€™s current integration offerings
  • Participate in internal enablement sessions to build skills, knowledge, and confidence of the GTM team to speak with confidence in the technical abilities of our products
