Solutions Architect Proposal Technical Writer

Summary

The job is for a Solutions Architect & Proposal Technical Writer who will design technical solutions, lead proposal efforts, engage with clients, and write proposals. The role offers remote work opportunities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline or Communications/ Business/ English/Language degree
• Six or more years of demonstrable success supporting in a solutions architect role and/or as a proposal technical writer
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following technical disciplines: cybersecurity, cloud solutions, data analytics, enterprise IT modernization, software development and integration, network engineering and operations, systems engineering, risk management and compliance
• Deep knowledge of the business development lifecycle and Shipley processes
• Strong presenter capability and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in facilitating strategy, solutions, and storyboard sessions
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and successfully under conditions of multiple efforts, deadlines, and changing priorities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Excellent work ethic, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet internal/external deadlines
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of technical solutions in response to RFP/RFQ requirements
• Serve as the technical lead during proposal efforts, providing guidance on solution architecture, technology stacks, and integration strategies
• Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges
• Write and edit technical sections of proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with RFP requirements
