Summary

Join 20four7VA as a CPT-7654 Technical VA and provide essential IT support and troubleshooting. This Junior to Advanced level role requires 10-15 hours per week, Monday-Friday, within the EST time zone. Responsibilities include managing Freshdesk, OpenPhone, and a custom CRM, along with supporting web development and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses general software development knowledge, Python/Django proficiency, and experience with Google Workspace and ticketing systems. Requirements

  • General knowledge of software development and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Django framework (experience with Django Admin is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of ticketing/support systems like Freshdesk
  • Experience with Google Workspace tools and basic IT troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical solutions effectively
  • Availability during business hours with some after-hours flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily troubleshooting for software-related issues, particularly during business hours (with after-hours availability being a plus)
  • Offer Google Workspace support, including resolving user issues with Gmail, Google Drive, and other Workspace tools
  • Assist with tech-related issues, including virtual phone setups and mobile device-related challenges
  • Handle basic Freshdesk user setup and changes for internal staff
  • Liaise with Freshdesk support for escalated issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Monitor and resolve support ticket-related queries from team members
  • Act as the point of contact for OpenPhone support issues, including ticket tracking and troubleshooting
  • Guide employees and contractors on OpenPhone usage and problem resolution
  • Provide basic backend support for the custom-built CRM, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving errors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the system runs smoothly and meets operational needs
  • Support the Python/Django-based system, helping troubleshoot simple issues in Django Admin
  • Review and interpret crash reports, escalating complex issues when necessary
  • Assist with logs from Mailgun and Twilio to diagnose and resolve communication delivery issues

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with tools like Mailgun and Twilio is advantageous
