The annual US hiring range is $150,000 - $170,000.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years enterprise voice Telecom Network and engineering management experience. Staff management may include direct hired staff or contracted vendor staff
  • Specific expertise with enterprise telecommunication architecture and distributed call center operations
  • Familiar with voice network delivery models and circuit provisioning processes for TDM and SIP based services. Experience with TDM to SIP conversions preferred
  • Hosted voice service provider experience is a plus
  • Peers with Business Continuity leadership in designing and maintaining telephony business continuity plans for call center and administrative operations
  • Compiles and submits weekly and monthly project and capacity reports to leadership as directed
  • Responsible for managing inventory and capacity planning for the telecom network and associated voice systems
  • Participates in weekly and monthly staff meetings with the Voice Engineering and Call Center leadership to review project status and deployments
  • Contributes as necessary with troubleshooting efforts between voice network providers and other technical areas
  • Coordinates voice network MAC efforts with providers and Telecom Engineering resources
  • Maintains and updates voice circuit inventory documentation  for all voice services providers at and 3rd party locations
  • Maintains supplier contract and service order documentation repository
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical in this position
  • Minimum: Bachelors' Degree
  • Experience/Skills/Certification Requirements: Must have hands on experience around transformation to SIP, SD-WAN, & Cloud
  • Must be able to communicate at a high level with C Level Management team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct telecommunications planning and strategy/roadmap development
  • Support development of related architecture, standards, and documentation
  • Work with IT Security team to ensure proper security for telecommunication solutions and services
  • Manage, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance of telecommunications suppliers and carriers
  • Track and execute telecommunication requirements and projects through to completion
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure the stability and expansion of the existing telecommunication environment
  • Lead and coordinate work efforts of the telecommunication team on a daily basis
  • Provide overall technical leadership and guidance for telecommunications
  • Represent IT telecommunications as a SME in various technology review boards
  • Work closely with other Infrastructure leadership and teams to ensure alignment to Infrastructure strategy
  • Participate in the planning, design, implementation, and technical support of organization wide initiatives that relate to telecommunications
  • Supports the development of the telecommunications operating budget and maintains necessary controls to ensure compliance with budgeted expenses, resources, and staff projections
  • Assists in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans
  • Coordinates, develops, and executes program for continual performance and effectiveness measurement of the organization’s voice networks and unified communications
