Summary
Join 20four7VA as a Telehealth Virtual Assistant and provide administrative support to a multispecialty medical practice. Manage patient appointments across various specialties, answer patient inquiries via phone, email, and text, and handle patient intake for telemedicine appointments. You will verify insurance eligibility and benefits using Navinet and Availity, assist with prior authorizations through CoverMyMeds, and guide patients through payment processing. Maintain accurate patient records in the Athena EHR system. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with a Monday-Friday schedule, potentially including weekend hours. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments across multiple specialties (primary care, weight loss, OB/GYN, neurology, podiatry, cardiology, pediatrics)
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and texts from patients
- Collect patient information and prepare for telemedicine appointments
- Utilize Navinet and Availity to verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Assist in prior authorizations for medical procedures and treatments through CoverMyMeds
- Lead patients to process copays and insurance payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Athena electronic health record system
