Territory Account Executive

Summary

Join Toast as a Territory Account Executive and be part of a team transforming the restaurant industry. This 100% remote, field sales role focuses on prospecting, building relationships, and signing up new restaurateurs in the Columbia, MO area. You will conduct demos, develop customized solutions, and leverage Salesforce to manage sales activities. Success requires strong communication and sales skills, experience canvassing and cold-calling, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure
• Candidates must live local to territory of Columbia, MO or be willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Generate list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
• Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
• Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Toast in the market

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of success preferred
• Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
• Sales and Closing experience preferred
