Territory Manager

Summary

The job description is for a Territory Manager role at Meter, responsible for driving growth of Meter's internet infrastructure across multiple states. • Have a track record of consistently achieving ambitious sales targets via direct-to-buyer and channel sales
• Have 3+ years of experience in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales roles (i.e., from prospecting your own leads to closing deals), selling a technically complex product to technical buyers
• Are adept in using sales tools (e.g., Salesforce and Outreach are part of Meter’s current sales tech stack)
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Can effectively navigate and have been successful in highly ambiguous and fast-changing environments
• Have the ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and closing new business across regional markets
• Helping build and scale a robust channel strategy to help exceed sales targets
• Leveraging our sales tech stack – including Salesforce and Outreach – to measure and manage the end-to-end sales process
• Optimizing and leveraging the partnership between sales, marketing, operations, and customer success throughout the deal process
