Summary

Join Version 1, a leading technology services company, as a Software Engineer in Test. You will be part of an agile team, contributing to client business transformation through testing. Responsibilities include defining and executing test strategies, monitoring issues, supporting automation efforts, and improving test processes. Experience with automated quality assurance, manual testing, and open-source tools is required. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration and acceptance tests
  • Delivered front end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration and user acceptance testing e.g. manual testing
  • Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
  • Have practical experience with open source tools such as: Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium or similar
  • Worked in an agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute test strategies and scripts
  • Accurately record and monitor issues
  • Provide support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide development
  • Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
  • Provide test estimates

Preferred Qualifications

Any performance testing experience or other non-functional testing experience would be beneficial
