Summary

Adthena is seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join their Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and delivering high-quality products, collaborating with the team, refining testing processes, and maintaining quality standards. A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, STLC knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, ISTQB certification or equivalent professional experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL with a solid background in handling data-driven and data visualizations projects
  • In-depth STLC knowledge with a passion for mastering manual testing methods and tools

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in an Agile team to test and deliver high-quality products on schedule
  • Determine and execute necessary testing, both functional and non-functional, based on release requirements
  • Design and execute test scenarios, plans, and regression packs for web applications
  • Efficiently identify, report, and prioritize bugs and issues, ensuring clear communication within the team
  • Develop, refine, and manage test plans and scripts to match project schedules precisely
  • Proactively identify and address risks to release schedules, reporting software defects promptly
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in product development, actively enhancing Adthena’s engineering and testing methodologies
  • Promote a culture of empathy and support among team members and towards our customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial experience testing complex web applications in Scrum teams
  • Expertise in testing tools (Jira, TestRail), SQL, API testing (Postman)
  • Skills in automated testing with Robot Framework
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Amazon S3 and cloud deployment testing methods is an advantage
  • Proficient in Agile quality standards and processes, with a strong analytical mindset for solving complex problems
